With Thanksgiving approaching, I always find November to be a time for reflection and giving thanks. And this year, there is a lot to be thankful for.
I have just closed on my second year here as President and Chief Executive Officer of HealthcareSource. Over the two years, I have gotten to know our employees. Just like I know quality talent is the key for our clients to deliver quality care, quality talent is the backbone to HealthcareSource meeting our clients’ needs. We have an incredible group of people working without abandon to deliver the best tools in the best ways possible. And more than that, we all deliver results with integrity, respect, and a great sense of humor. For all this, I am thankful for the people and for being a part of the HealthcareSource family.
Of course, I am also thankful for our clients. Recently, I was able to spend some time with a group of them during the Ask the CEO session at Talent Symposium. I was impressed by how aligned our vision is with what clients would like to see from us in the future. We will continue to provide first-class service for clients, strive for more and better communications, offer opportunities for clients to connect with and learn from each other, identify occasions where clients can better serve themselves and more easily access the information they need, enable better depths of education through our learning management system, and continue to deliver the best tools through a single platform that encompasses the entire healthcare talent management lifecycle.
This has been an amazing year for HealthcareSource. I am thankful for how we have grown as a company, acquiring our contingent talent management and now senior living and post-acute care solutions. Our technologies support thousands of healthcare organizations, and through that, our impact on patient care is growing.
The healthcare industry is facing several challenges: talent shortage, scientific advances, changing revenue models, political uncertainty. Nonetheless, our technology is positively changing people’s lives, enabling organizations to provide the best care possible. We have a wonderful vision as we move toward 2018: to be your partner so that your organization and its people can focus on the real work ahead. And for that, I am thankful.
