Earlier this year, we launched the HealthcareSource HR & Nursing Excellence Survey. The purpose of the survey was to better understand how best practices around talent and learning management drives better nursing performance. So what is HR excellence anyway? Well, when I asked Britnie Rewey, HR Generalist at Tomah Memorial Hospital how she defines HR excellence, she said, “HR excellence is using technology to find the right person for the right job and developing your employees so that the organization can achieve overall operational excellence.” However, in order to achieve that, HR and learning teams must collaborate with nursing to develop best practices around hiring, performance, and education.
