HealthcareSource Talent Symposium 2018As the President and Chief Executive Officer of HealthcareSource, I travel a lot. I enjoy nothing more than visiting clients, going to their organizations, and seeing our HealthcareSource solutions put into action. With every employee I pass in the hospital or senior living facility, I see the power of our talent acquisition suite, behavioral assessments, and performance, learning, and contingent talent management software. I know that the work we are doing has a direct impact on the healthcare people receive.

And now here I am in Orlando, getting ready to see many of you at Talent Symposium 2018. I love connecting with our clients during this multi-day event. Through the speeches and breakout sessions, we explore what we have accomplished together and what could be possible in the future. We share insights and tips, and we share stories. I’m excited about what we can all learn from each other.

As you know, we at HealthcareSource are always looking for ways to improve — our solutions, our processes, and even Talent Symposium. So we’ve taken the best of what we have been doing over the years and have added some great new features for you:

  • More Peer-to-Peer Sessions: Talent Symposium 2018 has a record number of clients presenting, showing their achievements in talent management and offering best practices. We are thrilled to help facilitate the exchange of these ideas.
  • Professional Development Track: We have added an all-new track focused on developing yourself as a talent management professional, whether you want to focus on women in leadership, influencing without authority, or just being a better you.
  • Extended Workshops: Understanding that some of the topics we discuss our quite involved, we added an extended workshop format to some sessions, allowing attendees to problem solve through hands-on activities.

Plus, we’ll once again have our Product Expo, Hackathon, the Executive Summit for senior HR leaders, and a very special networking event that gets into the spirit of the Halloween season.

We’re excited about this year’s conference and the opportunity to help you get the most out of your HealthcareSource solutions while also pushing toward a shared vision of what healthcare talent management should be.

Previously, J.P. served as President and Chief Executive Officer of HealthcareSource, as well as President and Chief Executive Officer of API Healthcare, a healthcare-focused workforce management technology company. Before API Healthcare, J.P. was Vice President and General Manager of Cerner Corporation where he held several executive-level positions accountable for sales, operations, research, and development. Prior to joining Cerner, J.P. was President and Chief Operating Officer of Dynamic Healthcare Technologies, a publicly held clinical software provider. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine.
